Vincent Lombardi – Licensed MFT

Vincent Lombardi works with individuals, couples, families, groups, and adolescents to improve the quality of their lives and relationships. We, humans, are hard-wired for connection. Sometimes, those connections can be difficult due to our own past experiences and the emotional bruises that come with them. Psychotherapy is used to help improve well-being and mental health, as well as change troublesome thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors in order to improve relationships and social interaction. His approach to therapy is collaborative, strength-based, and experiential. He helps his clients work towards their goals by using internal wisdom and life experience to build on the existing resources in order to help find a more satisfying life and relationships.

Previously he worked for over eighteen years counseling men on how to better in relationships and as a Group Facilitator for the Sterling Institute of Relationship. He has also worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, where he saw individuals and couples addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, gender identity, partnerships challenges, self-esteem issues, sexuality, trauma and ran healthy relationship groups as well as addiction recovery programs.

Vincent graduated from Phillips Graduate University of Marriage and Family Therapy with a dual degree in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as Pupil Personnel Services. Vincent received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in Finance and Psychology. Vincent is a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy) and LAGPA (Los Angeles Group Psychotherapy Association), and LAGPA (Lesbian and Gay Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles).
