he 3rd Annual Amber Rose SlutWalk
in Downtown LA’s Pershing Square to celebrate sex positivity, sexual health, and freedom of sexual expression.
Thousands of people across gender, sex, race, age, class, education, and profession gathered for this day festival filled with cool activities, contests and giveaways, vendors, speakers, panelist, performances, live DJs, sign making, educational booths, photo fun, free breast cancer exams, HIV testing, and much more.
The SlutWalk was an unforgettable experience for a mission that needs a large stage.
There is no recipe for what someone involved in the Amber Rose SlutWalk must look like. You
DO NOT
need to come from an activist background or know anything about these issues.
The only requirement was that attendees were open to being inspired by their own passion to do something about the issues that plague our generation.
The Amber Rose SlutWalk’s mission is serious, but this day of dressing up, strutting your stuff, and standing up for gender equality was filled with fun, laughter, and a powerful community to support a tremendous cause. It was a day filled with self-expression, unity, shedding stereotypes, and supporting one another.
