What do working out and sex have in common? Well for one thing they are both good for mind, body and overall well-being. Did I mention sex is a great way to reduce stress and improves quality of sleep? I joined Mommytrain.com for a fun event focused on helping LA mommies learn about sexual enrichment and how sex does the body… and the mind good!
After a workout in the new Sirens and Titans gym (www.sirensandtitans.com) we talked about the importance of sex for pleasure — and not just pleasing — and the barriers mommies face when it comes to sex. We talked about pelvic floor health, the importance of foreplay and improving sexual communication with a partner. I brought my pleasure devices to demonstrate that self-stimulation is important for vulvarvaginal health, pelvic floor toning, and improving the relationship with your body. We talked about ways to enhance libido and desire and one of the biggest barriers for mommies… making time! Most women agree that it’s hard to think about sex when it feels like you don’t have time or energy. Did you know that sex actually increases energy and reduces fatigue?
I included resources on where to find products and accessories for improving sexual health and wellness for new mommies.
